In the afternoon between the workshop sessions and the Gala Show we will have a special Afternoon Show - not a contest, but just fun! We have already applications from Belgium, The Netherlands, Great Britain, France, Germany and Brazil - and we have the feeling there are more to come...

Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 - 4.30 - 6.30 pm

Invited are groups, duets and single dancers with minimum two years of stage experience. Who likes to join and promote him- or herself can send his/her application for dancing there.

We are looking for a fun and exciting mixture, so basically anything from the Oriental World is welcome, as well fusions and special interpretations. So just surprise us!

Participants will have the chance to present and promote themselves on the huge main stage with professional light and sound.

As always - there are some rules for participation:

- professional oriental dancer with a minimum of 2 years stage experience 

- we need to know your artist name and real name

- we need to know artist and title of the chosen music

- music running time between 3 and 5 minutes

- the music has to be sent at latest 31st of July to amira.shazadi@yahoo.com as mp3 file in good quality: best is 320 kbs, minimum is 192 kbs.

- permitted are all styles such as classic oriental dance, folklore, fantasy and Bollywood as well

- if you have a video from another show of you/your group (in ideal case a dance clip of the chosen music title) somewhere in the Internet, please send a link to get an impression

As we need to be sure that we do not have the same music and style several times we will contact you after collecting some applications already. We want to have a nice and interesting mixture. So possibly we will not be able to accept every application. To permit us more flexible planning it would be great, if you would send your main proposal accompanied by an 'plan B', so an alternative performance you would like to offer.
